Only one month to go. Our heads are exploding with the multitude of little things still left to do but in under a month's time we'll be gathered in Savannah and taking part in the first event of the conference - a unique OWS poster display, courtesy of EPIC production sponsor AIGA. So...read on:

Workshops and Local Pursuits
It's great to see people signing up for the Local Pursuits and Workshops. Lots of thought has gone into both and they're going to be a great way to learn more about the location of EPIC and build your skills (ethnographic or otherwise). That said, we wanted to clarify the signup process for the few of you are maybe not finding your way there as easily. So here's how:
- Make sure you're logged into the conference website (and you're registered for the conference)
- Navigate to the Workshops or Local Pursuits (Sunday) or Evening Pursuit (Tuesday) pages where you will find the sign up buttons
- Sign up! Remember you can sign up for as many as timing allows. Be sure to check the Program to determine start and end times. Most require no, or only a small, additional charge.
Overflow hotel announced...
The Andaz hotel has pretty much sold out of rooms now (a few suites remain) - you were warned - but the back up hotel is a mere 270 feet away and has, apparently, been subjected to a bit of makeover by its new English owner. It's also a little cheaper than the Andaz. The staff at the Inn at Ellis Square are standing by to take your booking. There is no negotiated conference rate, but it's excellent value and in a great, historic location on one of Savannah's famous squares designed by General James Oglethorpe.
A conference souvenir
For the first time, EPIC is offering a unique conference souvenir to commemorate our shared experience. In the spirit of Renewal and Giving Back, we would like to offer an opportunity to purchase a limited edition ring or necklace made from reclaimed 1943 Savannah Estates Garden materials. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support the EPIC 2013 conference experience.
See you in Savannah
